Each Gray’s auction is sold under the conditions of sale published with that auction’s catalogue. By registering to bid you accept those conditions together with the general points below.

Bidding

You must pre-register for each auction; registration closes an hour before the live auction and approvals are done manually, so registering at least a day in advance is recommended. Credit card and shipping information is requested at registration to verify your identity and ensure winning bidders pay; it is kept private and not shared.
Lots are sold as described in the catalogue. Condition reports are available on request for any lot, and lots may be viewed in person during the preview.
Upon bidding you enter a contract: if your bid wins, you must purchase the lot. The buyer’s premium, sales tax and payment terms are stated in each auction’s conditions of sale.
